Cristin Schlossberger
Cristin Schlossberger is the Surveyor General of BC, working with the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA). She is also appointed as the Boundary Commissioner of BC on the Alberta–British Columbia Boundary Commission.
As Surveyor General, Cristin is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality and integrity of the province’s land survey systems. Cristin is driving to execute relevant and modern initiatives guided by her vision: Ensuring certainty in the province’s legal survey structure, supporting advancements in technology and embracing modern service delivery.
As Surveyor General, she represents the LTSA in the land surveying stakeholder community and collaborates with other statutory roles—such as Director of Land Titles, and Registrar of Land Titles—to establish the policy framework underlying the work at the LTSA. Cristin is also a member of the Board of Management of the Association of BC Land Surveyors.
Cristin was appointed as Deputy Surveyor General with the LTSA in 2009 and then appointed as Surveyor General in April 2019. Prior to joining the LTSA Cristin was employed with a land survey company in Cranbrook from 1999 to 2009 where she gained experience in land development consulting, project management and a wide variety of Land Act, Land Title Act and Strata Property Act surveys. She completed her Canadian Board exams for professional surveyors in 2006 and received her commission as a BCLS in 2008.
